Dan McGuire

Dan McGuire is a founding partner of RAM Law PLLC, a small firm devoted to providing high-quality, affordable legal services in the areas of family law, criminal defense, housing law, and estate planning. He received his law degree, cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he volunteered at the SMRLS civil law clinic, was recognized for providing over fifty hours of pro bono service to the community, contributed to the Mitchell Hamline Law Review journal, and was honored with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Mediation—an award given to the highest scoring student in each course. Dan is currently a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, and is listed on the Minnesota Parent-Attorney Roster.
During his time at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Dan interned for the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office. While there, he noticed that potential clients were repeatedly denied access to free legal representation due to their income exceeding the low poverty threshold. However, many of these individuals still could not afford a private attorney and were left representing themselves in the often-complex legal system. In an effort to bridge this justice gap, Dan strives to make legal services more accessible to those who would otherwise struggle obtaining representation by offering an income-based sliding scale fee arrangement.
Because many clients are in need of immediate assistance, Dan makes himself available 24/7. He can be reached by phone at (651) 468-2104 or by email at dan@ramlawmn.com. Additionally, clients can contact Dan by visiting his website at www.ramlawmn.com.
