Stats: Closing the Justice Gap

In his first three months in practice, CCLI participant Inti Martinez-Aleman met with 31 potential clients (the first within 24 hours after he was sworn in to the Minnesota bar).  From these meetings Inti signed 18 clients, an average of 1.5 per week, in matters involving small business disputes, immigration, family, housing, administrative proceedings, and other matters.  About 78% of these clients had incomes below 400% of the federal poverty guidelines and were eligible for low-bono legal services.  About 67% of the clients Inti represented in his first three months were Latino, 28% were white, and 5% were black.
