Amy Rotering

After twenty years of serving clients in the financial services industry, Amy Rotering pursued a career that would allow a more direct impact on the people she was helping. During law school, Amy served in the Minnesota Department of Human Service’s Adult Protection Unit, and in Hennepin County Family Court. Amy became concerned about the number of families facing difficult decisions without legal assistance. Additionally, as a single parent, Amy experienced the complexities of the family court from the client’s perspective.

Amy is committed to guiding families through all stages of life, from child-centered family law and housing, to estate planning and end-of-life concerns. Amy is available to mediate difficult discussions, and is also passionate about advocating for the right of the elderly and vulnerable to live in a safe environment with access to the resources they need. Amy believes everyone deserves a voice, and provides affordable legal services on a sliding-scale basis.
